Over the last couple of years Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs) have become popular. These have moved the SatNav market into the mainstream consumer arena.
The Garmin Street Pilots have been around for some time, but the market has exploded over the last year or so with the introduction of the Navman PiN and TomTom GO devices.

Fujitsu Pocket LOOX N100 with Navigon SatNav review
There have been a very large number of SatNavs introduced over the last couple of years. The technology has evolved to a point where it is not the hardware function that differentiates the PNDs, but the features and design of the device.
Last year we got a peek at the Fujitsu Loox N100, a small, stylish SatNav. After visiting Navigon a few weeks ago we walked away with a review sample. Read on to see what we thought about it... |

Garmin Nϋvi 350 review
PocketGPSWorld.com Garmin nuvi review. The name Garmin has always be synonymous with GPS, but this is more in the handheld and marine GPS fields. Some of the StreetPilots are a bit dated and a little behind the rest of the street routing market. This all changed last year with the introduction of the Garmin i3 and the Garmin Nϋvi. All of a sudden Garmin have catapulted themselves to the frontrunners in street navigation. |

Garmin Nuvi 710 Review
At present the 7xx range of Nuvi’s is Garmin’s flagship range (until the recently announced 8xx series is actually released!) and features a host of extras such as Bluetooth hands-free calling, FM transmitter, FM Traffic module (on the ‘T’ model’s only), Route planning (up to 500 WayPoints) with optimisation, GPS data logging, MP3 player, picture viewer, pin-lock, language guides etc etc etc… |

As we took a close look at the Nuvi 710 back in February (see here), this will take the form of a supplement to that review where I will add my own opinion of some key areas. The Nuvi 760 is functionally identical to the 710 in all respects other than map coverage, Text To Speech (TTS) and the colour of its case. |

Garmin Street Pilot 2610, 2620 and 2650 Review
In May 2003 we reviewed the Garmin Street Pilot III deluxe. This is a great removable in-car Satellite Navigation product, but Garmin has recently improved upon this by not only bringing out one product, but two new products. These are notably the Garmin Street Pilot 2610 and Garmin Street Pilot 2650 and a third is on it |

Garmin Street Pilot III Deluxe
First of all when you open the box, I was completely amazed by what was included. Not only do you receive the Street Pilot III, but like all Garmin handheld GPS Receivers, you receive a Garmin to Serial connection lead, you also receive a storage card reader as Garmin have their own proprietary storage cards for loading map data on, this is a USB reader. You also have two dashboard mounts, one that can be stuck to the dashboard, the other is a huge bean bag with slide and lock, tilt and turn mount. You also receive the full MapSource City Navigator Europe CD |
