TomTom moves into Mexico

pocketgpsworld.comTomTom announced today that they are moving into the Mexican SatNav market.

Starting with the GO 630, XL 330S and ONE 130 TomTom hope to steal a slice of the growing Mexican market.

With 16 million cars Mexico has been the latest emerging market with a huge appetite for Satnav solutions, Mio and Garmin have been offering solutions in Mexico for a number of years.

Featuring TeleAtlas maps, data is currently available for cities including Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Puebla, and popular holiday spots including Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco. The map data also includes more than 100,000 POIs.
