Have you tried the reset switch yet? - turn the unit over and locate the reset hole (its underneath adjacent to the main electrical connection strip) - use a pin or paper clip to depress the switch - Mike |

Are you 100% sure the reset switch has been depressed? - can you feel the switch click as you press it with a paperclip. The reason I ask is for two reasons, a paperclip with too larger diameter doesn't fit in the hole correctly preventing the actual switch from being pressed.
Secondly there have been reports (not many) of the reset switch breaking. Try holding the reset switch down for at least 30 seconds, then will it boot up? - Mike |

How old is the device? and do you have a full back up made with Home (or preferably Windows Explorer) - Mike |

How old is the unit, if its a few days I would take it back and swap it to be honest, you need a back-up from a working device, its probably not a bad idea to make a back-up but you should have done this prior to the device going wrong - Mike |

charge state will have a bearing on the problem IF the battery cell is very low, give it a couple of hours on the mains charger then try again.
If its only a few days old (less that 14) take it back and get another one - Mike |
