France Plus (& GB Plus etc) in TTN5.1 show the islands without any roads. You can only see your position and direction of travel.
Anyone know if it's possible to get road maps please |

Hi Calomax,
Do live in the Channel Islands, or are you a visitor?

We’ve been asking for years for Channel Island maps for TomTom, especially Jersey. Please see this thread. Unfortunately TomTom products (except the new Rider) use Tele Atlas map data and Tele Atlas hasn’t mapped the Channel Islands yet.
If you want to use SatNav in the Channel Islands then you will need to use SatNav that uses Navteq map data, e.g. Co Pilot . Please read the CoPilot Live v5 Jersey Trip article.

Thanks for the info. I live in Guernsey and obviously know my way around. I was thinking of visitors, because we have trhe most abysmal road signing you can imagine. I also occasionally visit Jersey and would find it useful there.
I recently upgraded from TTN5, which didn't show the islands at all, to 5.1 which shows them as an outline only and you can see your position on the blank map. That wouold be very useful wouldn't it!!!!! |

Thanks Robin2, Excuse the ignorance but who is Mapopolis? Are their maps compatible with TTN? If so, where can I get hold of them?
Cheers |
