I had to search for at least 30 seconds to find this... _________________ Dom

For the information of any of you who might wonder why Mostdom is using his boss's time to search for OAP versions of confused Smileycons, you should know that he is the boss of the largest industrial complex this side of East Prussia. As such, when he is doing searches for OAP versions of confused Smileycons for me, he is doing Blue Sky Research and Development into OAP Assistance Programs. Any of his employees caught doing the same are promptly sacked, fined three years' pay and shipped off to a salt mine somewhere cold.
I ask him to do these searches from time to time, as a test of whether he is concentrating here, or wasting time working in his penthouse office. He's marked on how quickly he responds. I suspect the reason for his delay this morning is his chauffeur being late picking him up. _________________ Dennis

Twas a bit foggy this morning hence the twee delay. And my research has uncovered that your shiny new van is still delayed. Sorry. _________________ Dom

Sure, take a look here

What you do is wait for the thunderstorm, then stick your tongue across the connection...if your eyes light up, you've protected it, but if they don't, you weren't affected anyway
Really, it's an anti-thunder download you need so that you can still sleep through a thunderstorm _________________ Andy

Calm down MaFt. We've already done the "Why haven't I got my free membership" thing seventeen and a half times this month. This is the very first chance we've had to reopen the debate on the lightning conductor thing since I got signed on for up to 20MB broadband. Fair's fair! _________________ Dennis

How quaint and old fashioned!
Most of us high-fliers have followed Miuccia Prada's example and have our own Carsten Höller slides to get us to and from the office.

I wouldn't want to be caught in a Carsten Höller during a Thunderstorm, but I would be without a 20Mb broadband, because they don't have enough fibre to reach my house. Apparently used it all up to reach DennisN, damn northerners. _________________ Dom

What if the number of 'lifers' was published, would this help satisfy the doubters?
For example, with a database update, how easy would it be say something along the lines of "x members qualified for free lifetime subscriptions with this release, bringing the total to zzzzzz"? _________________ Andy

This subject is wearing rather thin.
If mods really wanted to hijack threads, then surely they would simply lock or delete them - but, instead, they continue to dignify these posts with a response _________________ Andy
