Hi,
I have checked around and still cannot find on my I3 where I can input a postcode for a route.
If I choose where to? I get the choices of:
Country
City
House Number
Street
Thats it.
I'm getting the feeling now i've got a copied card here, how can I tell?
Also, I have done a master reset (I think, held down left and middle then switched on).
On the restart I am now presented with a different opening message:
Quote:
To use this unit, map data must be installed. Installation instructions are located in the enclosed setup guide. Warning: Do NOT connect this unit to your PC until instructed to do so as explained in the setup guide.
Firstly, I don't have a set-up guide. I only got a quick start booklet and a product information sheet.
Secondly, Where do I get this map data from?
Thirdly, If I press and hold the scroll now I get through to the main page which still has the maps loaded onto it, I thought the reset would delete these?
If anyone can please help and ease my mind before I go back to the seller and blow my top with them it would be greatly appreciated.
