Ok, hello, 1st post here so cards behind he bar and virtual drinks are on me ...

I picked up an I3 earlier, have upgraded the firmware, uploaded the latest POIs from MaFt (cheers) but for the life of me can't get the time right ...

Any simple instructions for a numpty ??

Also my home post code gives me the road thats one down from me ... any clues on that ??

Thanks in advance ....

Hi,

the time is picked up from the gps satellites and is a combination of your time zone and daylight saving settings.

if you stand outside with the unit turned on it will detect the satellites and sort out the time. also, in settings there is an option to select 'auto' for the daylight saving

Although still a newbie myself I think there is an option to save your present location, so just stand outside you flat, save your location and then save that as your home setting (I think)...
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong. Smile

yes, if you have the satellites acquired you can hold the scroll-wheel down and save it as a favourite - rename it to 'Home' and this will be set as home for when you press 'Go Home'
