Hi all,
I'm trying to download the Speed Camera Database but keep getting error messages along the lines of can't connect to server - does anyone know if there is a server problem at the moment or if it's more likely to be my PC settings???

| The download/poi server is currently down and cannot be restarted with the soft reset switch. We've paged engineers who hopefully will be looking at the problem shortly. |

Can you not put a posting on the front page to advise it is down, and the anticipated time for repair ?? 
I have been trying for 2 days now. I am keen to try it from all the good reports I have been hearing.

Good idea!
It has been unavailable for 2 days at 'peak' viewing times.
Perhaps, as the file is less than 1MG it could have been posted elsewhere or sent as an attachment to would be users as so many have it already dowloaded.  |

The speed camera database is available for download again from the Download Page. We are still having trouble with the server and POISync will be unavailable until it is sorted.
In the meantime you can use a manual download to obtain the POIs.
