Edit existing POI position?

I was wondering if it was possible to edit the POI position of one of the built-in POIs. Swindon's Great Western Hospital is about 2k off and on the wrong road (!)

Also is it possible to tell the unit that a certain road is no longer there (eg set a POI and avoid it for example)

Sorry, you can NOT edit built-in POIs.

Let's rephrase this. It is NOT PERMITTED to edit existing POIs.

Technically it is possible, but the smallprint states that the POI.DAT may not be changed. It can only be replaced completely by a custom version.

TomTom did buy all the POIs from TeleAtlas, and have to use them as is per the contract.
