Hi All

I bought a Tom Tom Go in January and was very pleased with it.

However from the start it was obvious that something was wrong with the suction mount, even on flat clean glass (like a double glazed patio door) it would only stay on for about 10 seconds then just drop off - this was without the weight of TTG on it !

I contacted Tom Tom via there support website and got an immediate response with full details of how to return it - they gave me the DHL ref. no. it was all paid for by Tom Tom and DHL turned up as scheduled and off went my mounting bracket. I was very impressed !

The original correspondence stated that I should get a repaired or replacmenent part delivered back to me in 5 working days. It has now been 28+ days !!!. I have contacted them several times about this even quoting them the DHL package ID and who signed for it. They allegedly escalated the service request twice but I still havent got my part. I sent another follow up mail a week ago and they havent even bothered to respond to it.

Maybe I am being over reactive, but in this day and age I dont think I should have to wait 28+ days (part still not received) for the replacement under warranty of a faulty part - especially a part as simple as a mounting bracket.

Sorry, Tom Tom - great products but very poor customer service. I am very dissapointed.

it could be they are awaiting new stock that has been delayed have you contacte tomtom again about this
another possibility is that dhl may have losed the parcel (youd be amzed at what theyve lost in the 6 months)
