Hi all,
Ive trawled the forums and not quite found simular to my query. Please forgive me if I missed appropriate posts.
I have been using checkpoint which works well. The new Wav alerts and seperate speed related files are a great idea. Id like to give it a whirl, but sadly brain power is lacking. I read posts which i think only relate to TTG. Could anyone help with a step by step how to best get this Jan 31 releace working on my 2210 PDA?
What should i do with the Speed zone files, where do they go?Any cautions to observe? I am using TTN3 with Checkpoint 2.2

Hi Roco,
You should have not problems with that version of CheckPOInt and TTNav 3.
As with the older database files, you need to load the .OV2 files (actual database) and their corresponding .BMP files (icon on screen) into the Map folder of TTNav on your storage card.
You must copy all of the 20, 30, , 70, and TBA files (both .OV2 and .BMP) to your map folder to be covered.
The TBA files contain all of the cameras that we know of, but which were waiting for people to report the correct speed limit.
Once you have got the above installed, soft reset your 2210 and they should appear on TTNav. All you need to do is set up CheckPOInt to warn you of the individual speed limit files.

Thanks for the speedy reply to speed cam jan31 releace query., unfortunatly my ipac has crashed loosing all my TTN3 and checkpoint (i think i let the battery run down). my restore feature is failing so ive put a request for help in the "window mobile pocket pc 2002/2003" area of these forums. Hopefuly some kind smarter soul will take pity on my ipac abuse and come to the rescue. So ill get back when i can recover the working files, unless of course you are one of those smarter souls who could help with that problem? appologies for cross topic forum im still very unskilled in all this, sorry.
