Is there a US POI database for speedtraps & safety camer

I searched all over the PocketGPS forums for a POI database for speed traps and 'safety cameras' for the United States like the UK version. I googled and searched the web, am I missing it, or is it just not out there? I am willing to help get one started as I see this as a valuable resource.

We don't have one currently but we're willing to consider starting one if we get enough data from US users to make it worthwhile.
