I am trying to download Traffic updates but their server is not responding.

In addition I have also tried to Re-Activate but get the message: Cannot connect to TomTom Traffic. My internet connection is working fine.

Is anyone else having problems at the mo?

I have managed to update my activation and am now able to download traffic information.

However the information is not being displayed on my maps.

For example my current map is totally clear of any delays for the entire country. However when I look at http://www.getmethere.co.uk which is a site that gets its data from the same source as TomTom, this is showing a delay on the M6, Junction 10.

I have rebooted my Ipaq etc but still no joy!

Has anyone got any sugestions?

I am sorted.

I removed the software and re-installed from scratch all now fine.

I'm having similar problems and would like to try your second posted solution. How did you 'reactivate' traffic? Is there a file to delete or something that stores the subscription data?

When you signed up to traffic you should have received an email with an activation code. Just enter this into your PDA when prompted and this should do the trick.

Thanks but I'm using TomTom Mobile, and I can't get back to that prompt. Once it's registered, it's registered, what I need to do is strip away the registration for Traffic.

Oh, and I can't 'uninstall' it, as TomTom Mobile isn't 'installed', it comes on a memory card which you just plug in and go.

It may be worth searching forums for your phone to see if you can do a soft reset. So that you can start from scratch.

That's the last thing i'm going to do, if you knew how many customizations I had on there and programs installed!

As I said, TomTom is just stored on a memory card. What I need to know is what file to delete to strip away my Traffic registration.
