i recently sold my nokia 6600 with tom tom ,on it i instaled camers software by draging into card reader i have today had a ipaq 1710 with tom tom navigator 3 i tried to drag and drop but no luck ,what is the best way to install cameras on ipaq many thanks |

You put the .ov2 and .bmp files in the map folder on the memory card.

yes i put them in great britain folder but when i look in poi,s they are not there any thoughts |

Have you stopped and restarted the navigation software on the iPAQ?

If you're not sure you've stopped the software, poke the reset button on your iPAQ with the stylus to 'soft reset' (that's the equivalent of rebooting a PC).
Simply turning off the Pocket PC won't exit the software; that just suspends. There should be an option on the menus somewhere to exit the software, which is the recommended way of closing it down (rather than a soft reset).

This may be a silly question but have you selected them within TomTom.
Although they are in the map folder you need to select them to show on the map.
I think it is under preferences and you check the POI you want to see on the map
Sorry I cannot give you more info because I don't have my PDA in front of me. |

i have placed card in reader i can see them in the gb map folder but theye are not on list on pda thanks |
