Too much technology doesn't work!

Some years ago I invested in prescription, varifocal, polarising specs. (bloomin' expensive) mainly to cut down glare when driving.

Of course, with the LCD technology used in the Tom Tom screen, use of these specs. blanks out the display of the screen!! Back to clip-on, flip-up polarising sunglasses, I suppose.

Having said that, I wonder if having Tom Tom upside-down and inverting the display would help? I'll see next time it's vaguely sunny!!
