I use my TomTom Go at work, however I am usually in a different car each time (for which the portability of the TTGO is great). I am considering getting the external antenna, and wondered if that too is also portable, or whether or not it has to stay in one car once you've installed it. Can anyone point me to anywhere that gives some more detailed information about how the external antenna is installed? |

See the existing threads (several of them) on this page. I've only got my antenna today, but I see no reason why it can't be swapped from car to car if you are prepared to let the wire trail through the car. People wanting more discreet installations have concealed the antenna and run the cable under door deals etc., but you don't have to do this. |
