What's the deal with Bluetooth carkits?

I've read the Traffic will cause any Bluetooth carkit to stop working.
That's a problem for me.
I'm using a Parrot phone kit which I really need.
How does it interfere?

Also, I read in another post about someone not wanting to pa £10 per 10MB.
What's that about??

The problem is that most mobile phones will only work with one Bluetooth device at once. If they're connected to a Bluetooth car kit, your PDA can't connect over Bluetooth to use GPRS. I use a Nokia wired car kit with my 6310i, so I don't have this problem.

TomTom Traffic doesn't use very much data - how much depends on how many incidents and how frequently you download updates. If you want to monitor your GPRS usage, consider buying Spb's excellent GPRS Monitor.
