Fix a POI

Just got my TomTo GO.
Nice wee thing!

The first thing I did was get a fix outside. Perfect. Put me right in my street.

Then, started playing.

Decided to use the Find Nearest POI and select a petrol station, with the idea that this would be handy!

Put in Tesco, Dunferlime (In Scotland), as it was listed as the closest.

Hit go, and checked the map.

COMPLETELY wrong. Took me in the opposit direction, and would have (If I drove it) ended up in someones house.

A slight early dissapointment, and it has now made me worry if I had needed this function in an unknown place... can I trust it?

So, my question though, is .. could I drive to the correct position, and get a Lat+Long and 'Fix' this POI?

You CANNOT change POIs that are included in the map. You can, however, elect NOT todisplay that group of POIs and instead load your own POIs onto the GO. These can then be edited at will.
