After updating to 4.4 I am experiencing peculiar behavior of TTG, when using Travel Via or not performing Clear Route prior planning of a new one. What happens is TTG wrongly directing the trip. This strange behavior happens when during the trip, the GPS signals are frequently lost. I already issued an email to Tomtom Support about this problem. My question - did anyone experienced the same behavior?
Regards, Avi

Is this with ASN switched ON or OFF?

The ASN is switched on. The problem is when this happen the GPS signal is already good for quite a time. So when the problem occurs, TTG is not on ASN but on a well signal reception.

By the way, the route what I am experiencing this problem is straight forward one highway from home to work. So it is not the complexity of the routing.

After waiting for many weeks to get an answer from TT support, finally I got the following strange answer (translation is followed:

"...In TomTom Go is geen 'Reis Via' optie aanwezig.

TomTom Customer Support Team"

A free translation from Dutch to English:
"...Tomtom Go does not have the option of Travel Via.
We advise you to re-install the maps on the SD card by using the CD-rom. It is possible that maps data is faulty, in this case use the website so that we send them to TeleAtlas....."

It seems to me either Tomtom Support does not about the new options, or they just give (un-professional) answer to resolve incidents on time.

As you may imagine I replied with an appropriate email.
Regards
Avi

I think I might have seen something similar to this yesterday, but without a Via set.

After some satellite signal problems during a straight drive on a major road, the TTG suddenly asked me to do a u-turn and follow a route on some minor roads into a nearby industrial estate. It then corrected itself when I ignored it and carried on.
