Set the overspeed to zero if you don't want a warning after the initial one warning you of the camera.

I must admit that I had a strong urge to use that well known saying, RTFM, but resisted. But you put it far more eloquently K.

Ok I'll try again and download using the Overspeed to Default.
You don't have to re-download, just use GPX converter to unzip the files again. Very Happy

Thanks...yes I've done that.
It's almost as if there is an old copy of the original download from POI Loader. Getting an early warning and then one at the distance I set on the CSV-GPX. I've had a look at all the files and, apart from the Cyclops stuff, there is only one PGPSW file in POI's at 19Mb. Cleared all downloads from the Garmin and re-installed PGPSW cams.
I've cleared the memory card, just in case, and will try again.
The strange thing is that if I Simulate a Route it all works at what I would assume to be my setting of warnings close to the camera, with only one warning.
Strange, but thanks for all the help

Have you got any sub folders containing old stuff in your 'working folder'? POILoader hoovers up anything it can find even in sub folders. This is a fairly common mistake. Have you checked on the device itself for any GPI files that could possibly be associated with the database, such as if you have called your 'latest' one something different, the old one will still be on the Garmin.

You need to have a good clear out of 'old stuff'.

Thanks. That could be it. I'll clear all but the latest data and folders re. PGPSW from PC first. Then download newest with POI loader. Checked files on Garmin and can only find one in POI folder apart from usual Cyclops stuff. Thanks

You download the newest .ZIP file with your browser. You then run CSV to GPX converter which, amongst other good things, produces GPX files. You then run POI Loader which converts the .GPX files etc. to a GPI file and then uploads the GPI file to your device.

Make sure you have no sub folders in the GPX converter/POILoader working folder (unless you are absolutely certain about what you can and cannot have in those folders)

It's al great but whatever I try I keep getting repeat warnings. I have removed all PGPSW files from both PC and Garmin and even checked that they are gone on the Garmin.
When I approach a camera I get an alert...great but then I get two more for each camera. I've set the overspeed to 0 and even tried to alter the 'Overspeed Adjustment' but no joy. Just one point....should the Overspeed Warning box be ticked ?
I'm sure it must be me doing something wrong as everyone else seems to get it right.

Overspeed should be unchecked and wording next to it should read Standard.

I might of missed it but is the audio set to continuous or single warning? Question

If its set to continuous then you will get the same warning until you have passed the camera.

Thanks guys. I found the fault and really appreciate your help. I had more than one set of cameras loaded at the same time. I checked for the amount on the Garmin and discovered duplicates. That's why I was getting three warnings for the same camera. Stupid I know, but what I had was some of the set downloaded from the PGPSW site and the rest from the CSV to GPX converter duh. The converter works perfectly and I would recommend to everyone.....just take time to get rid of all duplciates.
