ogg files

Whilst downloading new camera database (UK Speed zoned complete) for my TT Via I noticed that there are no ogg files. I just have .bmp, .ov2, x2.bmp. Is this correct ? I thought I had read somewhere that there should be an ogg file with each camera.

On the Download Page you have the option to download the camera files with, or without, the Sound Files.

It's a Drop Down List called 'Available Voice Packs'.

If at some stage you have selected 'No Voice Pack Required', and after that use the 'Download the same Format' option, you won't receive any Voice Pack.

The Option is there so you don't have to download the Voice Packs every time.

On the Download Page, don't select the 'Download the same Format' option.

Make your selection from the List of available file types and then make a selection from the 'Available Voice Packs', before downloading.

You state that you've lost the voices. Could it be that the ogg files are still there, but in a Map Update you've lost the warnings? Have you checked the 'Warn When Near' settings, to see if they are still available?

Thanks Richard, I can't get into the folder on my VIA but I suspect the OGG files must be there as they appear to work ok in practice. I think I was panicking over nothing.
