Just brought the TomTom Go External Antenna, works really well, just one query...

On the end of the lead on the mount part, there is a smallelr nut with a washer that seems to me to be redundant. There is no mention of it on the box, anyone got any idea what it is for?

It used if you want to bulkhead-mount this connector, i.e. make a hole in the wall, stick the connector in it, tighten the nut on the other side.
