I have sent crash reports the last couple of days, but I get a email back with the following:
Quote: | Unfortunately, this email address is an unmonitored mailbox which is unable to receive replies. We're happy to help you with any support questions or concerns you may have.
For account and subscription related issues, please do not reply to this message. Instead please submit a support ticket via our helpdesk here [links to www.pocketgpsworld.com/support.php.].

Not sure what address it goes to as I have accidentally deleted the mail, so can't get the headers, but I imagine it is whatever the address was that was coded into the programme originally.

I sent some well over a year ago now and nothing. I suspect CamerAlert is now 'as is'. _________________ Satnav:

Problem is, when the app crashes, upon restart you are asked if you want to send a report. I have had no issues since moving from S2 to S4 until recently. Two crashes in 2 days. I have seen a copy of the sent email and it is going to support@

In my case I think it was due to overheating as the phone was considerably hotter than normal during CamerAlert usage.
After some looking around I found other similar issues with metal case phones as they don't dissipate the heat as well as plastic.
Back to Garmin with non directional cameras being the only drawback. _________________ Satnav:

We DO get the crash reports - they are filtered out on the server. However, because we use the same address as the old support stuff it also sends out the auto-responder...

Are the reports helpful though? Does the app get updated with fixes? |

No. Android app hasn't been updated for as long as I can remember, although iPhone users did get a re- vamp last year IIRC.

I'm still waiting for analysis of my crash logs from about a year ago now.
No problem though as I'm back with the PND. _________________ Satnav:
