Not on your PC, no. Some folks like to keep older versions for comparison. I tend to keep the last but one, just in case _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Hi, I`m new to Garmin been with TomTom for years. I also have a lot of data in my Garmin Core Updates folder and would like to know if i can get it to store maps on my backup drive ? |

Not AFAIK. But you can always manually copy some of the older map folders should you wish to keep them. There's no need for them to remain in the Core Update folders. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Thanks for that. So its ok to cut and paste the maps to my backup drive. I have backed up my Nuvi 2599LTM -D and have also copied them to a USB key as i have read basecamp will work with this like a device, By the way which folder /folders can i delete in the Garmin Core Service folder? |

Just those that are labelled as the maps ... I believe you could delete the whole folder but I've never tried that as I have plenty of space on my hard drive. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |
