I want to install the database in my car satnav which accepts user defined POIs to be added in GPX format.
The manual says the satnav can take up to 50000 POIs in up to 100 groups, which ever is greater.
Will this be sufficient entires to upload the full database? |

You haven't given us a lot to go on, but in a word, probably. What is the satnav software, or give us a bit more of a clue by telling us what car you have and what's the name of the satnav. |

There are a couple of utilities here, and elsewhere, that convert CSV to GPX. However, GPX has many inbuilt features and my app for example only scratches the surface.
A sample line or 2 would be useful but probably difficult to get. _________________ Satnav:

According to this page, there are currently around 15000 cameras in the UK database. If I remember correctly, the speed-zoned version splits these cameras into around 33 different categories (or groups), although there are other versions which use less categories.
So the answer to the original question is yes, your satnav should have sufficient space to hold the UK speed camera database. If you want to load the European database as well - visit the above page and do the sums yourself. _________________ Garmin DriveSmart 50 LMT-D |
