Anybody know the truth about these please?
For those of us that (occasionally) break the speed limit I thought you might need to be aware of this.
Pay great attention to the new cameras, two are already
in operation on the A52 dual carriageway into Nottingham,
Six further camera's became operational on the A1 between
Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire and Oakham, Rutland on
Monday 22nd October 2012.
The New Version of Speed Trap Camera
trialling in UK now. It is not easy to spot.
See the photograph below:
(Somebody please tell me how to add a photo?)

From where did the info come? |

I take your point, Oakham being about 10 miles off the A1. I was copied in on a circulated Email. |

95% of email traffic is 'circulated'. Some people call it SPAM and delete it without reading. |

Indeed. I only ever read that sort of thing if the title includes something like "You must read this" or "Important" or "Don't ignore this" or "Special Offer" or "Warning, watch out for this" or any other subtle hint that it's worth opening and reading. _________________ Dennis

If the photo shows a small camera like thing built into a crash barrier then it is a hoax. This was exposed on this site a few months ago, so a look through past posts should find it. _________________ Peter

Many thanks to those who have responded, I have confronted the friend who sent it to me, in good faith. he has checked back and has established it is a hoax. |
