This week, Paul Parry nears the end of his 5,000 mile/8,000km cycle ride from the tiny Norwegian island village of A, deep inside the Arctic Circle, to the small Nebraska town of Bee, in the municipality of B. On a tandem. Alone, with the occasional help of hitch-hikers picked up along the way.
The 24 year-old Londoner is armed with a Navman GPS and Pocket PC PDA combination, and location-aware content is provided on Paul's "Where is he?" page by A2B Location-Based Search Engine.
Further details of Paul's miraculous journey, during which he has encountered large wild animals, run a mid-Atlantic marathon on the Queen Mary II liner, had Miss Universe help out "on the back of the bike" in New York, been escorted off a major highway by Quebec Police officers, and appeared on TV in Toronto and Omaha, Nebraska, can be obtained at his site at:

A2B is a location-based search engine returning the closest links to a given geographical position, offering mobile web searching using free GPS software, full GeoURL and Geotags META tag compliance for site addition, and an open API for positioning software developers to add A2B functionality to their own software. Further details are available on the A2B site at:
