Finally got it installed on my 9700 after having difficulties with missing .cod error.
Now i am unable to change language.
Trying to change to German the device shows
- Downloading German..
- Synchronizing resources...
- Unsuccessful attempt to change language.
At this state it is not possible to leave the language dialogue, i can only quit the program.
Tried also to switch to French, same error.
Is anyone else able to reproduce this error? |

I also have german as default language.
installed fine for me.
Dont know, if it makes a differece what device/OS you use.
Mine: 9700/v5.0.0.938, Platform 5.1.0.177
Maybe, try to remove telmap and try installing again before trying to upgrade/downgrade the OS ?
another possibility:
I had difficulties downloading the Application itself: When I tried to use the BlackberryBrowser (which uses the BES connection through my enterprise server), the Download failed/did not start.
I then switched the default browser to the WiFi browser, and logged myself into a WiFi network.
Download then was ok.
But before trying this, I would recommend to delete telmap, make a restart and then again try the installation. |

How are you able to specify the version that you download?
I've been using this link within the Blackberry browser to download what I assumed was the latest version, but it's showing as 5.12.26.
If there is a later version, I'd like to try it to see if it solves the hanging problems with the version I'm using as detailed here, here, here, here etc.! |

Thinking about this further, as an alternative approach, is there any way of getting hold of the prior version (i.e. earlier than 5.12.26) which worked fine for me?
Thanks! _________________ BlackBerry Bold 9000 |

Found a bug on the latest version with Bold 9700 OS6. In the settings I cant see which of the top 2 items is highlighted where you can chance the units of distance used etc. |

I've just tried Telmap again and, after synchronising resources for a couple of minutes, it's fired up fine so maybe the issue has been fixed behind the scenes by Telmap!
Hopefully it'll behave itself again now... _________________ BlackBerry Bold 9000 |

Telmap 5.12.32 works good on my BB 9700 Bold. Installation was easy, but at the end the screen froze. I pulled the battery and to reboot the BB. After that the BB and Telmap 5.12.32 worked great. Just hope it stays that way.
Does anyone know if OS6 will be made official for BB 9700 Bold?
Thanks. |
