Bike mount for Adventurer 2800 - Now with Photos

Thought I would post this on here in case anyone was interested. I have been using an Adventure 7000 for the last couple of years and as we all know ther have been several issues with this device . I have now purchased the new Adventurer 2800. I have been using the 7000 mount bodged onto a ram mount which was mounted to my motorcycle and therefore wanted to sort the mount for the 2800.

I happened to pick up the the original (bodged) mount I was using and it looked like it would fit onto the belt clip holder and hey presto no bodging it just clipped on.

Of course this is all irrelevant as I need to buy the extra large battery when it comes out and apparently this does not fit into the cycle mount or the belt clip so will have to re-think once they release this. I will try and take some pictures to show the mount and post it up here.

Here are some photos of the mount. They are not overly clear but if people are interested I may be able to get some better ones.


This is the old Road angel mount. You can see the two bolts going through the plate, on the other side is the ram mount.
