Map Display before GPS Fix

My biggest gripe is that it won't show a map until GPS fix has been obtained. Could you re-configure so that it uses last known location?

It's frustrating when you want to view the map only to have to wait for a fix to be obtained before one is displayed.

Hello Darren,

First allow me to say that I too think that it is very crucial that once you open the application you will see your location instantly.

That is why in our next version to be released – the Telmap Navigator V5.0 we have entered this feature.

Since GPS location is not yet available you will get a certain radius in which your location is could be found.

In the mean while and until we release the Telmap Navigator V5.0 to members of the user group you can always view maps while GPS fix is unavailable.

To do so from the application menu please go to where to, and then Address, and then search the desirable address and choose it from the list.

Once location is chosen you will get to a Drive/Walk/Map screen there you can choose the Map option.

That is how you view maps while GPS fix is unavailable.
