PaulB2005 - Now YOU'll be confusing the poor punters! (your descriptions of the single and speed-zoned files seem to be the wrong way round) _________________ David

I would like to suggest a section to discuss McGuider. Currently discussions are taking place in a couple of forum sections, with duplicated information being required to answer queries etc. |

It is quite time consuming to set camera locations using the Google Map system. Would it not be possible to enter co-ordinates, as entered on Sat Nav whilst driving, to initially zoom to area where new Camera is located. The current method of entry could then be used, but it would be so much quicker to get somewhere near the location that the current method of zooming in on the map everytime |

tonik - Hi and welcome.
Just type the co-ordinates in the "Find a location:" box above the map, click Find and it'll zoom in on that location.
i.e. 52.9504,-1.2545
Does that help? |

I sometimes log on to check for speed camera updates through my office computer only to find after signing in and going through all the menus, I am unable to download the Zip file due to my computer / anti virus /spam checker blocking the download. is there someway I can have the update emailed directly to my email address with the file attached already. I have a Tomtom and the file I us is OV2 and Uk speed zoned complete, it would make the whole download issue better for some.

The database is compiled on the fly from the master database as per your particular requirements. It is not possible to email it nor would it be practical for us to consider offering such a solution I'm sorry to say.
Is the download blocked because of an IT Security Policy? Have you tried downloading by clicking the direct link offered to you at the end of the selection process? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Not sure what you mean? the end of selection? I follow all the drop down menus and clip download and the security window comes up and stops me..even if i go via your link posted to me.

At the end of the selection the download is begun automatically but on screen we also post the direct link for your selection.
Some security policies prevent the automatic download but permit your using the direct link from the page.
If you don't see that then I'm afraid your company has blocked it and you would have to access the download from home. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Yesterday I saw what looked like a Gatso being installed at our local level crossing, I wonder whether this was similar to a red light one for use when the lights start to flash, it was about the same height, colour etc as a Gatso.
I am trying to find out more about it, I wonderd whether you might consider adding these to your database. |

Do we really need to be told that you should obey the lights at a level crossing? _________________ Darren Griffin |

In a way, it's just as much a redlight camera as any other. You're the boss though. _________________ Gerry
