Hi - can someone tell me if the BMW E60 2004 5 Series Business Navigation System tells you when speed cameras are coming up.

If not, any idea if I can update it so it does?

I need to know whether I need to buy an additional Road Angel or not as I am thinking of buying this car.

Thanks

Ian

No it doesn't.

Some BMW SatNav's can use a third party solution called Pimp-My-Nav in conjunction with our database to add speedcam support. See the BMW section of our compatibility list here.

Basically BMW sat nav systems are just pants. Pure & simple. I have on in an X5 (E53). If I could get it out and shoot it or burn it without damaging the rest o fthe car I would.

Who in their right mind would pay decent money for this complete and utter bag of Censored?

What's the point of a sat nav that requires you to know where a frigging postcode is located before you can navigate to it?
What's the point of a sat-nav that you have to pay more than the cost of a new TT just to update an obsolete set of maps to a slightly less obsolete set of maps?
What's the point of a sat-nav that crashes frequently yet doesn't have any way to reset it apart from turning off the vehicle and waiting some random time?
Which MORON thought that the UI in the BMW sat-nav was usable? One button and a scroll? They onbviously never tried to use the damn thing.

You can't do with this piece of garbage!

Sorry... I feel a little better now.
