As a MSDN subscriber I now have Microsoft Mappoint 2009 with European mapping.
What I don't have is a GPS receiver to go with it.
I note that Microsoft include a Pharos GPS receiver in the retail box but I cannot find any for sale as a separate unit.
Are they available or are there any other compatible units?
thanks _________________ Lets be careful out there ! |

| There are plenty of different receivers that will work with your software, question is do you want a cabled receiver, Bluetooth or Compact Flash type - what is the hardware you are running the software on? - Mike |

Thanks Mike
Been away for a while.
I suppose anything that will easily connect to a Laptop would be favourite, USB ?. _________________ Lets be careful out there ! |

Bluetooth works as well as USB, the choice in the end is yours but USB once installed are simple and easy to use. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor

I'm not fussed which I get but do you have any recommendations, anything on AmazonUK that would work straight out of the box at a reasonable price? _________________ Lets be careful out there ! |
