I have just connected my One v2 to TT Home and been offered, and accepted, version 7.900 of the application. Of course, I have lost all my safety camera settings.
I have a Windows Explorer backup on my PC. Are there some files in that which I can copy and paste into the device to save me setting them all up again?

Look for the "MapSettings.cfg" file in your back up, it should be in the map folder, copy and paste this back to the map folder overwriting the file on the device, but others have reported this doesn't work as the device re-creates a new MapSettings.cfg file when it boots up - give it a try and let us know if this works or not - Mike

Thanks for the reply, but it doesn't work.
The mapsettings.cfg file in my backup is 4.69kB, but after I pasted it into the map folder in my device and booted up it reverted to 1.28kB, which is the size it was after installing 7.900
Oh well, I'll have to spend 15 mins tomorrow setting them all up again!

As seen in other posts, this seems to be a "feature" of this software version... the old MapSettings file is not compatible and gets overwritten again.
There's nothing else you can do to recover your warning settings, but at least you can get your favourites back by loading the old MapSettings.cfg into POIEdit and re-saving them as a user POI file.
