Navteq updates

My wife has changed her car (Vauxhall Astra) and it has a CD70 Sat nav fitted. The supplied UK maps are 2007 / 2008 and looking at the Navteq site I see that the latest are 2008 / 2009

I want to get the maps for mainland Europe but would be annoyed if there were new updates comming out soon. So, how often and when to Navteq bring out new updates? Do they have a regular pattern?

It would seem that they may do one a year and thus the next ones would not be due until next year. Is that right? Any help or insights would be very much appreciated.
