XDA Tomtom - MicroSD or MMemory best?

Hi All,

I have always had my tomtom software installed to the main memory on the XDA, but i just wondered if you get better performance results if its installed to the MicroSD card instead?

Only asking as my main memory is slowly diminnishing so im looking for space! Mined you the 8gb MicroSD card is not exactly that free either!

Well ive given it ago, and loaded the software onto my MicroSD card saving me about 5 megs on the main memory.
OK doesnt sound much but when youve got so much going every little helps!

Ive noticed that there isnt any less performance issuses, if anything it works a bit better, all my poi warnings are still blowing out, and running GPSSS ok too!

I also was a demon and asked it to show all my old POI on the map, as i was used to with my tt700. There is still a lag there, however dont think it was as bad as when loaded on the main memory.

Al in all quite happy with it being on the MicroSD!

If your stuck for space why not give it ago!
