Q818 Q1000p difference?

Can I use the Q1000p as a bluetooth receiver for my symbian mobile/pda, just like I would the Q818?
To show my tracks while I'm out walking, riding etc, or is it some other kind of device?
The q1000p is described as a datalogger, I don't understand the difference.

Yep - the Q1000p will function as a standard BT GPS receiver.

A datalogger records your position (at intervals you can pre-set) to internal memory. The Q100p allows you to store 200,000 suck items.

You generally use this information to create a record of your trip. You can use the info to create plots on Google earth etc. Also you can use the information to geo-tag stuff (like photo's) - but you need other s/w for doing this.
