Does anyonw know how often the Speed Camera information is updated.
I have recently changed from a Garmin Nuvi660 to the Sony unit primarily because of the TMC support on the Sony is better (and easier to fit an external aerial).
Where as the Garmin Speed Camera DB is updated monthly, it would appear that the Sony Speed Camera DB is dated May. |

Do you have any links? Is the database included in the purchase price or an additional cost subscription? _________________ Darren Griffin |

Sony have it as a Free of Charge Annual Subscription. This is leading me to the feeling that they only update the DB annually ;-(
Such a shame because I am finding the Sony NV-92 to be so much better the the Garmin Nuvi 660 in nearly all other aspects. |

We may be able to offer a version suitable for your system but I confess I'm not familiar with it, do you have a download you could send us so that we might identify the POI format? _________________ Darren Griffin |

It looks like it might not be possible.
From the FAQ for the Sony NV-U82/U92T - CLICK HERE
Under specifications

No, it is currently not possible to download data from external source to nav-u. |
From the Sony Website it looks like you buy a 12 month subscription and the camera download via the Software Sony gives you with the unit. |

Strike that idea then! Any GPS that cannot use 3rd part POIs is well behind the game IMHO. _________________ Darren Griffin |
