I consider them to be in the same bracket as entrapment , they should be advertised just like statics. |

Not everybody does it and they must be one organisation which doesn't publish it.
Anyway, that information is not complete for other websites, because they also say that they will visit any other mobile site at any other time. _________________ Dennis

I had a look at a few around home and work and these seem to be either out of date or incomplete, but I guess we're not al as lucky as South Yorkshire with exact locations and dates.
Does anybody know if the South Yorkshire locations tie in with the PGPSW database, or are they beginning to use new sites as feared by MaFt? _________________ Andy

Just as an aside...the A127 Southend Arterial has an unhappy/annoying memory for me. Around 5 years ago, I got caught by a roadside mobile, the position and whereabouts I still do not know...it was around the time shortly before they put in the Gatso cameras on the final stretch of road to Southend. In the post one morning, was an 'intent to prosecute' notice, for doing 47mph instead of 40 along that stretch of the dual carriageway. Fair enough, but no fixed penalty ? Decide not to appear at Southend magistrates court as the RAC advice was..'don't worry....3 points and a £50 fine maximum.'
The outcome ? £ 185 + points,....and this for FIRST OFFENCE ! |

West Yorkshire SCP will send you SMS messages each week telling you where they are for that week. 1st one in the uk to do this
if they don't get money from you speeding they'll get it from 50p per week for messages!!

And I suppose you get a bigger fine and more points if you then get done by a mobile camera and they discover you've ignored their SMS. _________________ Dennis
