French Aires de Services are built in under 'Rest Areas' on my TTN5 French plus map. _________________ PGPSW Grand Finale Prize 2010 - TomTom Via LIVE 120 EUROPE. Which my son has stolen since he got a driving job so I'm back with

| Or from the Campingcar-Infos website you can just download the ov2 and bitmap files of the types of Aires that you need and drag to your map on the sc . Click on "synchronisation coordonnees gps " from the links at the side and then look for "fichiers pour TomTom ov2 " |

I'm presuming that you have a TomTom.
If so then connect the TT to the PC and, using Explorer not HOME, Copy/Paste the OV2 and BMP Files from the PC to the Map Folder on the Device.
If you haven't done so already, then do a Full Backup, as shown on the FAQs Page. See #1.
Although #4 is for the camera installation, the principle is the same as they are all POIs. You just don't need the Warnings set. _________________ Richard

Hi Tony,
Did you just try to download this file..
Fichiers pour TomTom (.ov2) (506 Ko) ***nouvelle version***
if so, its a zip file, i would recommend you download and install winzip to open and handle these files.
inside this file are 9 bmp and 9 ov2 files, which need to go into your map folder on your device / sd card.
hope that helps.

Indeed, and almost certainly uploaded without permission of the owners, TomTom have been very lax in policing this and its an issue all the POI compilers are very unhappy about.
If this situation continues then there will be no incentive for any of us to bother so please bear that in mind when using HOME to acquire POIs. _________________ Darren Griffin - Editor
