Hi and to the forums
it sounds like you are downloading the code for the page controls rather than the zip files themselves, can you say what actions you are taking? _________________ Samsung Note 20 ultra

Did you pay by credit card? If not, then then please see the snippet below from the FAQs:
Q. I've paid using PayPal. Why am I not a Member yet?
A. When you make a payment through PayPal that is funded by Instant Bank Transfer (the vast majority of transactions) we receive your payment and you become a Member immediately.
If you are an existing PayPal customer and do not elect to pay by credit card you therefore elect to pay by a transfer from an existing PayPal account - this transfer takes the form of a virtual cheque, called an eCheque.
All those that are able to use a credit card get instant access.
The rule of thumb is, if you have used PayPal and haven't paid by credit card then you have paid by eCheque.
If you used eCheque we would not have received your payment immediately. Funds will only be received once cleared through the banking system. As soon as payment clears (usually up to 8 working days, but sometimes longer - we have had reports of up to 14 days clearance) you will receive your membership details automatically.
We do mention it on the payment page, but in amongst all the other information, understandably, it can be missed.
Your 1st email subject line from PayPal will read 'Receipt for Your Payment to PocketGPSWorld.com Ltd' whereas the 2nd email will read 'eCheque Payment Complete'. _________________ Robert Brady |

Hi,
it is very frustrating trying to subscribe. Is there not a very simple way especially since with broadband speeds most of us are used to fast and effective download access. |

What is the issue you are having, the vast majority of our subscribers manage to join, subscribe and download without any problems? _________________ Darren Griffin |

I'm registered, I've paid through paypal, I can post (obviously) but I can't get the website to recognise me as a subscriber.
Down the left hand side, in the members area, i am told that I am not a subscriber, and I'm assuming that this is why I can't get to the download area??
Any help would be great.... |

99.9% of the times this happens the cause is PayPal and their eCheque Payment System. You can verify this by checking your PayPal account. if it says 'eCheque' for the transaction then this takes a few days to clear before PayPal release payment to us . As soon as we receive the payment your account is activated automatically.
If this is not the case, send an email to subscriptionsATpocketgpsworld.com with the PayPal TransactionID and the email address you used with PayPal and we can investigate and resolve for your ASAP _________________ Darren Griffin |

Could you please break down the cvs files for Destinator to speed limits or a least make it sortable for individuals to set up there own speed files for each type of camera. With so many different limits on specs etc this information would be of great use.
Thanks in anticipation

I don't know why the Destinator download doesn't have a speed-zoned option, but if there is no technical reason why you can't have that many categories, as they are csv, maybe you could try one of the other csv downloads, such as Garmin?
I've no experience of this, it's just a thought.
Hopefully one of the Admin will be along and will be able to say why there isn't a speed zoned set so far. |

There are Speed Zoned Files in CSV Format if you use Other in the first Drop Down Box. _________________ Richard

Did you pay by PayPal? Was it an eCheque? If so then you have to wait 8 days or so for the payment to clear.
The following is posted on the payement page...
Quote: | Please note that if you use PayPal "eCheques", i.e not credit card/switch, it can take up to 8 working days to clear through the UK banking system. |
