I just saw this article about new tele atlas maps. They arent xbox 360, but the concept drawing is definitely teh coolest gps mapping i have seen.

I agree. Very cool stuff. Expec to see 3d geolocational mapping starting to become the norm, when this technology takes off. Expect to see in-car solutions as well as GPS voice-activated hardware with 3d navigation.

that would be great. i'm not in a position to replace the tomtom 300 already, but it sure would be tempting if a newer model came out with these maps.

voice activated would be amazing -- is there anything like that now?
