Getting GPS Data from the Streetpilot I3?

Can anyone tell me if there is a utility which will allow me to connect to the I3 and read the raw GPS data? I've seen some utilities such as the freeware GPS Diagnostics utility which do the sort of thing I'm after but need to connect via the serial port (COM port) but nothing that seems to connect over USB. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks for that, have downloaded and am giving it a go now. One thing that's confusing me is it seems to be getting the data into GPSDiag but am not getting the status bars on the right.

I'll work on it for a bit and then probably end up buying it.
