paul..many i3's came with v7 maps and some with v8 maps..it was suggested on this forum by one of the moderaters that in jan or feb that garmin would 'upgrade' existing v7 map users to v8.....we wait with baited breath...

I phoned up garmin the other day and was told it would be the 25th Feb that the V8 update info would be available on the website.
