Assume this is just a feature - but does everyone else's i3 update the map only approx once every 15 secs at motorway speeds? (with the map auto-zoomed out a fair way)?

The track-to-next-turn distance still appears to diminish in 'real-time', tho...

Just curious! :D

I have never noticed how quickly it updates but mine does automatically zoom out at high speeds which is a good thing but it would be nice if it zoomed back in at lower spped. Do you find the same?

i thought it DID zoom back in at lower speed? especially as you come up to a junction so you can see the map detail a bit better. something i prefer on the i3 that the nuvi doesn't seem to do...

Mine does zoom back in as a turn approaches - it's just the relatively slow general map updates which I've noticed at speeds above 7x mph - maybe it's just mine sulking somehow...seems to work fine all the rest of the time 'tho...

could it be that you have map detail high and as it is zoomed out there's obviously more detail for it to draw hence the delay?
