[C310] GARMIN POI LOADER [GPX FORMAT]

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this, so any help would be warmly received.

I have a Garmin Streetpilot C310 and a large part of the reason for buying this item was for the speed camera warning facility.

I originally tried to load, first the POI software from Garmin, then as instructed, the pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras Garmindatabase in CSV format.

To cut a long story short, all was sucessful except the database would not load on to the C310. I contacted Garmin and they knew of the problem which they said was a software problem with the POI loader, currently being rectified. To their credit they e-mailed me as soon as a update was ready, including a walkthrough to a successful completion, hopefully!

However, everything went according to the instructions, now using the main database, (not Garmin specific) GPX file folder in the, "single file version" folder.

Anyway, I set off on a journey yesterday and lo and behold still no speed camera warnings!

I've just checked, Where to/My locations/Custom POIs and all the database is there!!

Can anyone shed some light on how to get the thing to work, pleeeeaaase?
