POI - Is this possible??

I have the Speed Camera POIs installed which work fine.

However i also have a BP Petrol Station one and a Motorway Services one.

I do a lot of driving all year and long motorway journeys 3-4 times a year and wish Garmin had given you the option to display some POIs all the time and not just when they are set as a Via or a Destination, so i can see if a BP is coming up and i can coincide a leg stretch / break with a refuel. Or easily see if there is a BP in close proximity without having to stop and start searching through the database. I can do it by adding Proximity Alerts but if i specify a long proximity I'll go mad from the constant bongs. If i set a short one then i might miss POIs or get alerted too late.

Is there any way to stop the bongs? Maybe a setting in the POI csv?

Or perhaps another way to achieve what i want?

it would of been easier if garmin had a option in the menu so you could choose what POI you wanted to see.
