Quest 2 question

Just on the point of buying Quest 2 but before I part with money how much coverage does it have of France as I notice on garmin site it says intertown roads and UK has full coverage can I download a more detailed map of france from the CD provided with the Quest 2 or would I be better off with the original Quest? I am off to France and Switzerland this summer on the bike and will be using small roads so don't want to end up with a system thats no use thanks

The map detail on the Quest 1 and 2 is the same (provided the same map version is loaded ofcourse). Coverage for France has greatly improved in version 7 (which you now get with the Quest 1) and is about the same as in v8 (comes with the Quest 2 at the moment).

Thanks for the reply and your excelent home page. I have ordered the Quest 2 with the ram mount and wiring kit from GPS Warehouse hope to get it this week sometime.

Quest 2 arrived last night I am pleased with it so far and will fit it to the bike at the weekend. Now starts the learning curve.
