Hi
just wondering if anyody knows of a way to find out how much memeory is free on the micro sd card and how much is in use?
While im at it does anybody know how you get full european directional coverage or at leaset for major countrys:-france, germany, Italy, spain, ect....(mainly France and Italy im interested in)
ive only had my i3 for a couple of days now and for the price of £144(bought in woolworths)i think its amazing.it seems too work just as well as much more expensive satnavs(tomtom,navman,ect...). |

just to let you know it came with city navigator europe nt+ V8 installed with a 256 micro sd card(if yer interested that is)

You mean it came with CityNavigator Europe NT CD AND a 256Mb MicroSD?
Italy and France maps are roughly 400 Mb together. If on the card you have GB and NI that will take roughly 180 Mb, leaving no room to spare for France and Italy. |

hi,
the only cd that came with the i3 was the usb driver cd,i thought this was normal for i3 bought in the uk,they have full UK & N.Ireland installed on the 256mb micr sd.It seems to have a large basemap covering most of Europe but you cant get directions for anywhere further than northern France.
I presumed this was normal for i3 bought in uk,but if im wrong please let me know.

The base map contains only borders, main roads and main rivers/lakes. It is routable, but their position is with a great approximation.
If you want, routable maps for the rest of Europe you should buy CitySelect Europe. Unfortunately this can be done only in US not in Europe. If you have any friends in the States....
And yes, it normal for i3 to come only with preloaded maps not only in UK, but also anywhere else in Europe.
