i am very new to gps i bought mine today from quiksave garmin i3 £164.99 very pleased so far the test will be tomorrow 360 mile round trip after reading this forum i decided to download the poi and safety cam software i think i followed the instuctions should i be seeing anything extra on the screen or menu to show the speed cam has been added or does it just work when it sees the cameras?

if you go to 'where to' and then 'custom points' they should be shown in there.

goto..where to ....food,hotels and more.....custom points... all in there m8..

found it works a treat thanks did320 miles today as far as i know it only missed 2 cameras and they were close to home how do you add cameras to the database where they are ect

Just tagging this one in here.
On Mafts garmin downloads, where are the fish n chips, wi-fi hotspots, Caravan and camping, LPG forecourts etc.
I get most of the things listed but some are missing or I cant find them on me little I3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No, doesn't matter that much, but using at least some punctuation can make a post much easier to read, don't you think?

I don't think it has to be perfect but using at least some punctuation can make a post much easier to read don't you think because I found both of cuz62s posts in this thread a little hard to decipher though not impossible i did use a little smily face at the end to indicate i wasnt completely serious so hopefuly cuz62 doesnt take it too harshly anyway back to discussion of this cool little device that i'm learning more and more about here good job moderators
